Follow topics based on your interests or role at the University, post and respond to your colleagues, either through the HUB mobile app or web experience.

How do I access the HUB?

You can visit the HUB on a web browser by clicking the button below. Log in using SSO (single sign on) with your Cane ID and password or download the official UMiami HUB mobile app to stay connected wherever you are.

As a social platform, HUB falls within the Social Media policy. Conduct that is a violation of a University and/or UHealth policy also applies to online posts/comments. We encourage you to express your thoughts and ideas, but please remember that you represent the University of Miami, so you may not violate policies or negatively impact University operations.

The Marketing, Communications and Physician Relations team, along with University Communications, reserves the right to not approve and/or remove inappropriate posts and comments.

    The HUB can be accessed via web browser or the official mobile app.

    While staff from the marketing, communications and physician relations team manage the HUB, any faculty or staff member at the University can post, comment on and like a story.

    All University of Miami faculty and staff can access the HUB starting Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024.

    Yes, you will find the HUB works like the social media and news apps you use in your daily life. It is intuitive and you will not need training.

  • What will I see on the HUB?

    • A central news source where faculty and staff will find important reminders on benefits, required training, community events, leadership updates, and more. 
    • ‘Canes connecting with each other by engaging through posts, photos, likes, comments, and more.
    • Delivers a personalized experience through AI integration advancing the University to the forefront of communications technology, unlocking real-time intelligence, personalized messaging, and the ability to reach our faculty and staff how they prefer to receive communications.
    • Declutters our one-way highway of information and moves the University away from our heavy reliance on email.
